Brooke and Luca met me at the Pavilion at Cheesman Park, in the heart of Denver, for their engagement photography session. We were so lucky to enjoy some of the warm December weather and a beautiful glowy sunset. Another benefit to planning a winter engagement session is that we chose a normally busy location, but we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves. It was quiet and calm and Brooke and Luca could just enjoy each other and celebrate this special time. You guys look great, and so in love!

Brooke shares, “We both went to CU Boulder and I was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Luca worked there as a server in the dining room. My best friend thought we would be great together and introduced us! That was almost seven years ago.”
Luca adds, “I knew she was the one when I didn’t want to spend a single day without her.”
Luca shares, “I proposed in Boulder, where our relationship all started. The only unexpected twist was no one tells you how fast the moment goes. I was really nervous leading up to asking and it was funny Brooke didn’t pick up on my nerves at all. I am so happy with how it all turned out and wouldn’t change a thing.” Brooke adds, “Luca planned the proposal and put so much work into it. It was the best day ever. I was completely shocked and didn’t even realize what was happening until he was down on one knee! Best moment of my life!”

Brooke shares, “We chose our engagement session actually with the help of Jess. I knew we wanted more of a city feel to these pictures, especially since we lived in Chicago for a few years. However I am somewhat new to the Denver area and thankfully she knew exactly where we should go!”
Luca adds, “As a Colorado native, when Jess suggested Cheesman Park, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for what we wanted these photos to be. Pairing it with a great Colorado sunset, it was perfect.”
I asked them what they love most about each other. Brooke said, “His love for me makes me want to be the best version of myself. But above all, he is my best friend and the person that can make me laugh harder than anyone else and makes everyday so much fun.”
Luca said, “I love so many things it’s hard to pick what I love most. I love her constant goofiness and smile on her face. She has such a way of bringing me up when I am down with her thoughtfulness.”

Brooke included two stunning white dresses in her session with very different vibes–one modern and flirty and one elegant with a bit of a vintage feel. It was a great way to add variety to her images and make the most of her photographs.

Brooke and Luca are getting married at the Beaver Creek Chapel and having their reception at the Grand Hyatt in Vail, CO this upcoming year on 9/5/26. Brooke shares, “The vibe of the wedding will be blacktie, timeless and romantic. I am most excited to start this next chapter of our lives and marry the man of my dreams surrounded by our family and friends.”
Luca continues, “I am so excited to be able to carry on all of my family’s Italian traditions. The most exciting being the Tarantella dance between the bride and groom.”
