Katelyn and Peter were married on a beautiful August day at Aspen Glen in Carbondale, Colorado.
I asked the couple, “What was your most anticipated part of the day?” They answered, “Without a doubt, the most anticipated moment of our day was our first look. There was so much nervous excitement leading up to it, but the second we finally saw each other, all the stress melted away and was replaced by pure joy. After the ceremony, the celebration really kicked into high gear—we had an absolute blast at dinner, surrounded by all of our favorite friends and family, sharing delicious food, incredible conversations, and memories we’ll cherish forever.”

The weather was perfect–a beautiful day with a quick passing rain that left a rainbow in the sky.
Katelyn shares a favorite part of the day, “My dance with my dad was absolutely amazing! Sharing that special moment with him was everything I could have hoped for, and it’s a memory I’m going to hold onto forever.”
Peter’s favorite part of the day also took place during the reception. He shares, “Looking back on the entire day, the absolute best part was having every single one of our favorite people gathered in one place. Seeing friends and family from all the different chapters of our lives come together to laugh, dance, and celebrate us was a feeling unlike any other, and it made the whole experience completely unforgettable.”
The couple shares, “Our biggest surprise of all was just how overwhelmingly emotional the entire day turned out to be for both of us. We knew it was going to be special, but we weren’t fully prepared for the constant waves of happy tears, pure gratitude, and deep love we felt from the moment we woke up to the second the night ended.”
Katelyn and Peter celebrated their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas. They share, “Our honeymoon was purely magical. It gave us the perfect space to slow down, catch our breath, and soak in our very first days of marriage in a stunning tropical setting. From enjoying quiet, romantic dinners right on the beach to spending our days taking in the unbelievable Cabo sunshine, every single moment felt like a dream.”
