Johnny and Samantha Brewers of Homefield Weddings are a husband and wife team based in Denver, Colorado. As a Colorado wedding photographer I love teaming up with videographers to create lasting memories for my couples. Johnny and Samantha are not only talented artists, but are also compassionate and considerate people. They make any wedding day better and have an ease that only comes with experience and expertise. 

Johnny and Samantha met in high school in Elkhart, Indiana, graduated from Indiana University in 2014, and then moved west. They got married in 2015 and started their videography business. 

10 years later, with over 150 weddings captured, they are a premier wedding videographer in Colorado.

I asked them what is the most common question they get about wedding video. They answered, “I would say our most common question is how we choose the music for our videos. In a perfect world we could use your favorite song, but unfortunately copyright laws shut that down. That being said, we know that music is a super important element to the video. So how do we choose? We always tell our couples that we get a feel for their “vibe” throughout the day. What did they listen to when they got ready, what songs did they choose for the ceremony, first dances, ect. And of course if there’s a genre or artist they love or hate, let us know! Sometimes we spend days picking the perfect song, and I wish that was an exaggeration.” 

I also asked them how they got the name for their business. They shared, “We have another side of our business called Homefield Productions, where we film a variety of other projects (promotional/branding videos, corporate, commercials, ect). Johnny came up with the name in college thinking it would revolve around sports videography. The name stuck, and we decided to make a wedding side to avoid confusion. Sometimes people would be like, “do you film weddings or hip hop music videos?” As funny as that was, splitting it into two companies just made sense.”
